One person wounded in Southcenter shooting

Tukwila police detained four people after a man was shot Wednesday night during an altercation outside the Westfield Mall at Southcenter. After the shooting, the mall went into lockdown, with many customers taking cover and hiding inside, even though the shooting occurred outside. The shooting came weeks after the Feb. 22 shooting outside Northgate Mall in Seattle.

Police investigating fatal shooting on I-10

A Rancho Cucamonga woman was shot in the head Wednesday night while driving eastbound on the San Bernardino Freeway. The 54-year-old Rancho Cucamonga woman was shot in the head while driving eastbound west of White Avenue shortly before 10:34 p.m. Wednesday, said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.

Man jailed for life for shooting pregnant woman

Thomas Hughes, 40, gunned down 22-year-old Krystal Hart on her doorstep after hearing of an argument between Miss Hart and her neighbour, his girlfriend. Hughes' girlfriend, Angie Brewer, lived below Miss Hart and was "almost obsessive" over noise that came from the upstairs flat. The gun used to kill Miss Hart was never found but Miss Brewer said Hughes had shown another gun to her in the months leading up to the murder.
