Teen apologizes to neighbors after chemistry lab raid From Boston Herald S OUTH HADLEY - A South Hadley teenager is apologizing to neighbors after state and federal authorities dismantled his home chemistry lab, disrupting his neighborhood for three days last month. Jack Robinson, a 17-year-old chemistry student at Holyoke College, said in an on-camera statement to Springfield's WWLP-TV that he's "deeply sorry" for the actions of the authorities, which he blames on "a series of miscommunications."

UK team in bacteria breakthrough From BBC News Scientists have new hopes of restoring penicillin's full antibiotic effect after discovering how a bacterium which causes pneumonia has become resistant.
