Samsung launches range of digital cameras From Hindu New Delhi (PTI): Consumer electronic products manufacturer Samsung India on Thursday launched its new range of digital still cameras and camcorders in India. "In keeping with the changing consumer preferences, the new 2008 series of Samsung Digital Still Cameras comprises Digital cameras with resolutions of 7, 8 and 10 mega pixels and have introduced colour options across our different models as well," Samsung India Deputy Managing Director R Zutshi said in a statement.

Just about every editing app out there supports editing standard DV content from these camcorders. Most current editing apps can edit in HDV format so life is still good. Showa Denko Will Meet Output Target Before Schedule (Update1) From Bloomberg Feb. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Showa Denko KK, the world's biggest maker of hard disks for other companies, will meet its production target for the component ahead of schedule, helped by demand for storage in notebook computers, President Kyohei Takahashi said.
