A NEW association to support Welsh aquaculture businesses was launched at Port Penrhyn, Bangor, last week. The initiative was led by the Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture Research (CSAR) at Swansea University, with Cardiff's support, as recommended by the Fisheries Strategy for Wales. "There are considerable economic, environmental and societal gains to be made by constituting and effectively managing a new aquaculture lead body for Wales."
