Friends of Winnacunnet gives grant for sports From Hampton Union Winnacunnet High School students goof off in the snow after snowshoing on the school grounds. The snowshoes were recently purchased for use in the high school's physical education classes thanks to a $1,850 grant from the Friends of the Winnacunnet Foundation. Linda Libby of the Foundation said they awarded the grant in the fall to longtime physical education teacher Don Foote. Libby said this was the third time Foote applied for the grant but until now other programs took precedence.
