Now, however, Continental Airlines has announced that it will be trialing a cellphone-based boarding setup at Houston's Intercontinental Airport, which will enable single passengers (as in, one barcode per person, per device) to show personnel a jumbled mixture of blocks alongside their ID in order to hop on board.

A code-sharing agreement with American Airlines will enable passengers to depart on the US carrier from 24 additional North American cities, easing connections to El Al flights to and from Israel. The code-sharing agreement with American Airlines, the world's biggest airline, will enable passengers to depart on the US carrier from 23 additional North American cities, easing connections to El Al flights to and from Israel, the two carriers said.

Engine cap on runway, airlines silent

TANGERANG: Soekarno-Hatta International Airport has yet to receive confirmation regarding an engine that apparently fell from a plane onto the south runaway of the airport on Tuesday morning. Airport executive general manager Heryanto said a watch tower officer found the three-meter fairing engine on the side of the runaway near the international departure terminal Tuesday morning.
