Conseco to restate financial results

Conseco Inc. said Monday it has uncovered accounting errors, and will restate its financial results and delay filing its annual results with securities regulators while it fixes them. Although the company said it won't file its year-end results with the SEC until "on or about" March 17, it plans to release 2007 results March 11 and hold its quarterly conference call with analysts and investors March 12.

If the company you are using to factor your invoices is over aggressive in its recovery procedures, it could cause friction and relationship issues with ongoing client relationships. My concern would always be that businesses should be focussed on creating customers that are happy to pay invoices. Reporting - You need an aged debt list to see who is / is not paying invoices on time. Problem alerting - How will the factoring company report problems back to you so you can get them fixed before...
