Winterville Mounds archaeology at 3 p.m. Wednesday in room 123 of Cook LibraryHe will describe his field work methods and digs at the site of an ancient Native American chiefdom near Greenville, and discuss what the artifacts suggest about this prehistoric culture in "The Archaeology of the Winterville Mounds Chiefdom."
