Lloyd’s provides solution for martial arts cover

According to NAKMAS, numerous martial arts clubs are not properly insured. Many of these clubs are using substandard martial arts insurance, providing the clubs with insufficient cover or failing to include vital areas of cover such as child abuse and instructor indemnity. In order to overcome this, NAKMAS has collaborated with Lloyd's to offer comprehensive worldwide cover for coaches, competitors, club members and staff, available to all NAKMAS affiliated clubs. Joe Ellis, Chair and Acting Lead Child Protection Officer at NAKMAS, explained: "Some smaller clubs are unaware of the different types of cover that they can get as some policies do not cover all the necessary aspects.
