Brick set for close-up with 4 new cameras

BRICK - Last summer, Brick began making its Township Council meetings available on the Internet as well as on local television. Briggs, a Brick resident who frequently attends governmental meetings in the township, values the station for its broadcasts of Township Council meetings and the local information it provides. It began with taping council meetings for broadcast on Channel 20, and last year, the township also started to offer video of those meetings on the Internet. Ed Moroney, an administrative analyst for the township who handles public relations, said Brick also recently installed an approximately $17,500 digital server at the municipal building that will allow the township to transmit content onto Channel 20 directly from that location.
