Arturo Sandoval Andrea Canter Yoshi's plush new club in San Fransico will host Arturo Sandoval's Mambo Mania Big Band for six nights - Tuesday, February 26th through Sunday, March 2nd. In a ceremony broadcast live on the Univision Network on Thursday, November 8, 2007 Cuban trumpet virtuoso Arturo Sandoval was been awarded a Latin GRAMMY in the category of Best Latin Jazz Album by the Latin Recording Academy for Rumba Palace, released on May 22, 2007. Sandoval has been awarded 4 Grammy Awards, 6 Billboard Awards and an Emmy Award. Arturo has composed his own ' Concerto for Trumpet & Orchestra', which can be heard on ' Arturo Sandoval: The Classical Album.' Also, he has been chosen to perform with the foremost orchestras on primetime television, and was asked by John Williams to record on Williams' original Trumpet Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra.
