Advanced Viral Research Corp. of Yonkers, a biotech company researching new anti-cancer drugs, said it has formed a research agreement with Northeastern University in Boston. The companies are also creating the K-Atlas Fund, an alternative investment fund targeting hedge fund and private equity investments. SPAR Group Inc., a marketing company in Greenburgh, earned $1.5 million, or 8 cents a share, during the fourth quarter of last year, compared with a loss of $105,000, or a penny a share, a year earlier, the company reported yesterday.
