Millions of people across the country suffer from indoor allergies, according to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Indoor allergy symptoms: According to the AAAAI, symptoms of indoor allergies are easy to spot. Dust mites: They thrive in house dust, and their droppings are the most common trigger of perennial allergy and asthma symptoms. These proteins are carried in the air on small, invisible particles and can trigger allergy symptoms.
