I'm well aware of the abilities of a properly made composite bow from traditional materials. I had planned to do a simple self-bow to start with and then to work up towards a more powerful composite bow later on. Crude bows mostly but in the Urals when it's nothing to do you just saw off solid branch get some good wool and make bow.
