Dean Wareham led the whisper-quiet trio Galaxie 500 before starting the popular lo-fi alternative-rock band Luna. Now the genre-blurring hip-hop pioneers are breaking their silence for a good cause, as they headline a benefit for the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function, a nonprofit agency that supports music therapy and research.
